Diagonal Corner Cabinet

In continuing (long overdue) with the Corner Cabinets, we mentioned earlier that sometimes there other options other than killing the corner. Another option is Diagonal Corner Cabinets, which can be seen in the layout below. You put it right in the corner with cabinets on each side, and no killed space. In the Base cabinets people will put Lazy Susan’s, in the wall cabinets sometimes people will put Glass doors as a bit of an upgrade but either way, it`s another option of not killing the corner. Other options that we have that we can do are “Blind Cabinets”, which are a bit more complicated and I hope to go into in the near future.

Corners in the kitchen can be extremely complicated, but does not have to be if the right guy is doing your layout. I do have to admit sometimes you just have to kill the corner. An example would be the image to the left. There are other choices, for example a diagonal corner cabinet, or a blind corner cabinet. Tomorrow I will hopefully go into detail and explain those a bit more.
